Airtel Down: Thousands of Users Report Call and Internet Outage Across India Introduction India’s leading telecom operator Airtel faced a major service outage on Monday afternoon, leaving thousands of users frustrated. According to reports, the disruption began around 3:30 PM , when subscribers started experiencing problems with both calls and internet services . Downdetector, a popular outage tracking platform, showed over 3,600 reports within hours, confirming the scale of the issue. Nature of the Outage As per Downdetector data, about 71% of Airtel users reported problems with calls , while 15% complained about internet connectivity issues. The remaining 14% faced no signal problems on their numbers. For many users, both incoming and outgoing calls were blocked, and mobile internet stopped functioning.
